You seem to think covid is permanent which is funny. Q3 will be a record quarter in terms of sales and Q4 will be even larger. As Tesla grows, of course they will need more factories.

And Q3 they plan to have record deliveries, so they may not even need the credits depending on how Corona goes of course.

Didn’t they just repaint a statue that was already there?

Trucking turnaround time on average is 30-40 minutes, that is enough time to charge just fine.

I was talking about semis

I know a person who put diesel inside their Lexus RX... it traveled 1 block and broke down.

You’d be surprised. Semi trucks are all about $/mile. And it’s hard to beat electric in $ per mile. Long distance trucks that go over 500 miles makes up only 5% of trucks. (Even that 5% has methane to compete with which is slightly cheaper)

It looks like it always has in recent times, a Ford Focus with some sport options.

Would this qualify as a Mustang and a Pony Car?

Tesla owns the battery technology they have, Panasonic just fabs them. Same way how Qualcomm, AMD, Nvidia or ARM own the technology they have and go to 3rd party to fab them.

I don’t think Musk cares, unlike Ford Musk actually sells the cars he shows, not blue ball you with prototypes you will never ever get to see outside a promotion event or drive.

Yeah, the motors of the future are just gonna be printed circuitboards instead of winded motors.

Even in Europe, Diesel sales are crashing after Dieselgate. I think germany is the only one who is still holding Diesel sales. Add to the fact that stricter regulations and push for EVs coming in Europe, Diesel is going to free fall even faster.

We are talking about the same automakers here right?

That isn’t true. Adding more batteries costs less than the first, cause there are other parts to a PHEV like motor, inverter, transmission and etc.

Because they are worried that once someone tries PHEVs, they will realize that maybe a BEV meets their needs just fine and that would be their next car.

I would consider 37 miles EPA range the bare minimum (average daily commute in US). At least 50 miles range would be preferred and 100 miles range would be ideal for a PHEV.

And how long till the crazies start calling climate change a hoax because the weather forecast is now less accurate due to less data collection? Then argue more data collection is a bad thing at the same time.

Red truck or blue truck, weights or no weights. It’s quite clear neither truck is going anywhere soon.

He is advertising for Chevy in advance cause he is gonna need a new job soon so its good to make a good impression.
