New vehicle registrations in the state of California, Tesla’s biggest market in the U.S., were down by almost half compared to last year, which could spell trouble for the automaker’s second-quarter earnings report coming up.

To be honest, the whole Muscle car thing seems to be dying. The Mustang is at record low sales, and this is before covid even.
Because it is easier to stomach 40k+ price if its a luxury brand than a non-luxury brand. Then when they can increase their economies of scale and cut costs, they can release a cheaper version under nissan.
Battery tech makes perfect sense on Mars. You won’t be bringing the batteries there other than a few, most would be produced locally as the materials to build them are all there.
Lithium Ion batteries are more than appropriate for Mars colonization. You need batteries anyways one way or the other. You can’t just run around with portable nuclear reactors everywhere.
Why would the infiniti model be 10k more? That’s my point, make it infiniti while keeping the price. This way 40k+ for a luxury brand is more acceptable than 40k for a non-luxury brand.
Well, not the JC08 test... The JC08 is worse than even the old NEDC test.
I don’t think Nissan has the battery capacity to make it “For the masses”, and the 40k+ price would be easier for people to accept when its a luxury brand then a non-luxury brand.
The long range battery in a two-wheel drive model is expected to deliver up to 379 miles of range, while the smaller battery four-wheel drive model is the worst-range scenario with 267 miles of range.
If you are familiar with Paypal’s history, Musk was the person who fought the ebay sell till the very end. He lost because as ebay raised the price, his supporters left and he didn’t have enough shares to block the vote.
About time this was brought up and I am again shocked that Shillings is the one to do it!
That is the AWD model. i3X doesn’t even have AWD option and is RWD only. RWD Model Y is gonna be out soon which will have more range and cheaper.
Can you explain your logic? The i3X is RWD 460km range on the wltp. The Tesla Model Y LR RWD is 541 km range. That is 81km difference.
Because the specs are a joke for 2020? I mean you are aware BMW is quoting WLTP range, not EPA range right? So expect the range to be smaller if it does make it to the US.
Except Ford’s waiting list is a lie. I wouldn’t be surprised if the day you go to pick up your Bronco, you find it already sold to someone who didn’t even reserve.
1) Reservations does not generate revenue
2) As we learned with other Ford products, the reservations from Ford are completely useless. That is because the dealer is the one who sells them. And if someone offers to pay more than you, then your reservation goes out the window.
The reports are pretty standard, you don’t need to dig through multiple pages. They are pretty lined up. And Tesla generally mentions GAAP numbers in same line as non-GAAP for years.
The EU’s laws kind of make box trucks the requirement as they limit the length of the truck.
Weren’t you doing quarters? Now you are jumping to years? Again, why not talk about Q3 and Q4? Oh right, it doesn’t fit into your narrative!
