Harley Davidson had that image for WAY longer than Hummer. And they’ve gone electric for quite some time already.

I think you need to get your facts straight. Tesla had 6 profitable quarters. 2013Q1, 2016Q3, 2018Q3, 2018Q4, 2019Q3, 2019Q4.

Pretty much, Hummer peak sales was 71.5k per year in the US. In comparison, Tesla Model 3 sold 158,925 cars in US in 2019. Aka, Tesla Model 3 outsold the hummer 2 to 1. Yet hummer is somehow mainstream stage 4 while Model 3 is still stage 3?

Pretty sure Tesla has way more chance than Rivian. But other than Tesla, Rivian is probably the one with the most chance.

Environmentally friendly is a “relative term”. Nothing can ever be 100% environmentally friendly, it is impossible. But you can be more environmentally friendly than what you have now.

I think they should change the “d” to a “w” and rebrand to Faraway Future.

You could tell Faraway Future was nothing more than a scam from day 1. The reason is simple. When they were asked “What kind of car will you make?” And their answer was “You name the type of car, we’ll make it”. Yes, that is what they said!

Tesla does not quote prices with credits when announcing cars. They do obviously include the price with and without credits when ordering.

Has Tesla ever pushed up a release date only to delay it? I don’t remember any case. There has been a case of them delaying a release then pushing it up and delivering ahead of schedule.

Tesla Model 3 has plenty of driver headroom. Model 3 stands at 40.3 inches which is amongst the top of most sedans.

The deposit was for preorders. Once they move to actually selling them, its different story.

I have tried them both, and Tesla’s is quite superior. That is why when someone talks about superiority of supercruise, they only talk about not holding the wheel, not actual performance.
