A) Anyone who has watched a movie with airplanes or anyone who has flown and seen 2 pilots walk into there airplane realizes that autopilot does not do everything. No one is under delusion that autopilot flies itself fully.

I’m pretty sure most people are aware that airplane autopilot requires manual intervention.

I’m not getting your point. In your description it says “without constant manual control”. Which in turn means some manual control is still required.

Was he talking about “autopilot” or “full-self driving package”? 2 different things. Autopilot is driver assist, full-self driving package is what will in the “future” get you from work to home.

What difference does it make if you are exchanging for another EV? The EV tax credits are not a 1 time thing. You can claim them multiple times.

Or maybe have you bothered to check what Autopilot on aircrafts actually does?

An autopilot is a system used to control the trajectory of an aircraft, marine craft or spacecraft without constant manual control by a human operator being required. Autopilots do not replace human operators, but instead they assist them in controlling the vehicle. This allows them to focus on broader aspects of

That depends on how you look at it, the Model 3 seats are some of the best seats there is. And many people prefer the open interior. One thing that can’t be really shown in pictures is that due to having a simplistic center console, you get a much better view of the road than many other cars.

Tesla has fixed the fit and finish issues. That isn’t to say there aren’t outliners. But the Germans are not immune to having fit and finish issues like large panel gaps either.

How so? Average european puts in a ton less miles than average american. And Tesla’s charging network is much better than IONITY.

Credit for what?

It’s actually the opposite. Companies running on no profit has been the norm for ages. Because profit by nature is again extra money, you are generally better off investing the money back into the business or put the money in your own pocket as salary or bonus.

I think they can do more than 300k-400k. Model 3 only started delivering in some countries in end of 2019. And there are still countries Tesla has not opened to yet. There is also the whole thing with China (before they had to pay tariffs but now they can sell at a large discount).

Ah, no... that is a misconception of how companies work. Most companies are not profitable. A company can go without profit for 1000 years and a profitable company can go bankrupt the next day.

Is the joke here that most people think companies must be net profitable when in reality most companies are not profitable?

How is it anti-capitalism? People paying whatever they want for whatever is capitalism.

brine water is not water usage, brine water is like sea water, but much higher concentrations of salt. It is completely useless as drinking water. Even if you wanted to filter it, you’d just better off filtering sea water.

Hence why I am against the whole split vote nonsense. Let people vote for multiple people, and whoever gets the most votes wins. Thus eliminating the nonsense of the split vote.

Average person drives 37 miles, which is about 10 kwh. Average residential is 10,972 kwh per year or about 30kwh. For you to double your energy consumption, you would need to be driving 3X more than average, or your house must consume 3X less than average.

Not sure what you mean, lithium is one of the cleanest things you can mine (relatively) and there is no real shortage of it. It is 2x more common than lead and 10x more common than tin.
