“As journalists covering Tesla, I know it’s tempting to write about every crazy possible render. But there has to be some kind of standard, right?”

“Density by mass of the hydrogen is far superior to lithium as an elemental matter of chemistry.”
“weight and mass-energy-density.” uhm, aren’t you repeating yourself?
I think even calling it the betamax of cars is giving it too much credit.
5000 psi? lol, try 10,000 psi. They are walking time bombs as hydrogen escapes any enclosure while damaging it on the way out.
Weight savings: Where? they weight more than BEVs.
Cleaner emissions: Where? they pollute more than BEVs.
Ease of refueling: Where? You can’t realistically refuel at home and its slower refueling than gasoline plus the pumps have high failure rates due to crazy high compression.
You are limited not only by weight but by volume as well, and hydrogen has terrible energy density by volume. Not to mention the equation is density * efficiency. And fuel cells also lose on that front too.
What kind of nonsense are you talking about? The only reasons Toyota is working on hydrogen is:
“it’s vastly quicker to refuel hydrogen than it is to recharge batteries, the cars weigh a great deal less, fuel cell technology is mature and more efficient,”
So if I go to the right be it mud or snow, if the vehicle isn’t doing it reliably the same exact amount, is that not beta testing? It should be reliable!
When you are driving your car? No, but do you give them a choice?
Smart summons is used in parking lots which are private property. And the driver is the one who takes responsibility of it by using it.
Really? So what about traction control? Then when you turn the wheel to the right, is it going as much right as you intend it to?
It works the same exact way the current regulations work, you are still the driver be it in or outside the car.
Over 1 million people die each year due to automobiles. If anything, one can argue human driven automobiles have been one LONG 100+ year beta test. With no end to the beta in sight.
Josh is actually right. If you say go to Alaska airlines website, there is no mention of the first class bathroom as part of the amenities. There is no mention of bathrooms at all being part of any amenities.
Well, the owner can choose not to press charges in theory or it could be lessened to a misdemeanor.
There might be but you’d be surprised, there are plenty of videos where people keying cars as they go (and multiple of them). There was one when person walks into a store, walks out, notices the car and keys it.
In the future, we will all be stuck at our homes and use drones to do our daily chores including committing vandalism.
Hi, I have a pet Wolf, is it safe to leave it in the car with goat mode on?
