Moore’s law never existed in the first place. As Intel put it, they achieved Moore’s law through effort.

This isn’t exactly true. It is risky sure, but the gains are also worth quite a ton. The problem is many people think you just stick in a battery in a gas car and get an electric car, but that isn’t the case.
1. You can still guess long term reliability based on short term data if you compare equals.
It is. Also, China has said their new GPT connector will be Chademo compatible.
Ah, no. What happened was this. Tesla wanted to use SAE for fast charging initially, but SAE completely ignored Tesla in favor of automakers who didn’t even have an EV on the market. Not to mention SAE standard wasn’t even finalized when Tesla released their superchargers.
Counter argument:
Well the bright side is the charger could still be used regardless of what EV he gets in the future.
Unfortunately they didn’t. They simply using a more hardy chemistry, but they have not added liquid cooling so the degradation is still there, just not as bad, but still there especially in hot places.
Established dealer network isn’t a good thing, since most of said dealer network sells ICE. Unless you happen to be in a place friendly to electric cars, most dealers will treat you like a 2nd class citizen.
Have they added liquid cooling to the thermal management yet?
The thing is, the cow farts are not as bad as they are made out to be. We have to remember that the carbon from the cow farts didn’t just appear by magic. The cows ate plants, grew due to intake of carbon while releasing some of the carbon in form of farts. But the origin of the farts is still eating plants. And…
Just because you fell asleep doesn’t always means you crash, you could have fell asleep on a long stretch of road, or you could have fell asleep for a few seconds.
Did you read what I wrote? I clearly said that people should NOT sleep and let level 2 autopilot drive and instead should take an uber or taxi.
“I think calling it “Autopilot” was a mistake, and the reason you see so many jackasses taking a nap while their Model S zooms down the highway at 80 mph.”
Reports show that for many of us it does. This year, AAA reported that the number of crashes involving drowsiness is almost eight times higher than federal estimates indicate. And according to the National Sleep Foundation’s Sleep in America poll, 60 percent of adults admitted to driving drowsy and 37 percent admitted…
Autopilot is level 2. As for the self driving beyond level 2, that is already heavily regulated.
Not really... that might be the case in short term but not long term. You see, as EVs become better with more range, their dependence on charging stations become less and less. (due to home charging)
The thing is, the cost of building a level 3 charging station is 10X cheaper than a gas station. So it is actually easier to compete.
It’s not computer screens that makes it difficult for old people. It’s simply a ton of buttons/options that you don’t know what it does and you don’t want to bother with looking through a manual.
It’s quite the opposite. The older you get, the more simple you want things. Tesla has a lot of techy things you can fiddle with, but at same time it’s probably the easiest to work with.
