I guess apples must be disgusting to look at, since an apple a day keeps the doctor away. :P

@SquareWheel: I did change the refresh rates, and yeah, it really isn't too hard to change it after it's done once, but I don't like messing with the code too much. Last time I did it with the RSS feed... let's just say that there were big problems :P

I can see myself *maybe* finding this device useful when I'm too lazy to boot up my computer at home, but for taking it out anywhere? I don't think so.

@toaste: The aluminum may be anodized, yes, but 1) aluminum oxide looks fairly similar to aluminum, and 2) aluminum oxide naturally forms on every aluminum surface and prevents it from further oxidation below the surface.

Spent a good two or so hours, but finally learned how to use Rainmeter. I just wish there was someway I could easily reduce the refresh rate to reduce stress on the processor while on battery power, without adding extra code to each panel's settings.

This program doesn't seem to be working for snapping applications like Word. (I'm using Office 2010, and I'm assuming that since the window frame isn't the default Windows style, it isn't applying the settings to that window.)

@maltesh

You can actually do a similar trick with numbers larger than 2 digits long. It simply becomes a recursive process.
