I feel like Runaways and Agents of SHIELD have done everything that these interview excerpts are claiming Cloak & Dagger are doing for the first time. Though I wouldn’t be surprised if the interviewees simply hasn’t watched those (or, less likely, is discounting them for some reason).

Jump the shark or started exploring some scifi territory in the zombie genre. It’s been done a couple of times, the other didn’t last long and didn’t have a built in audience of three seasons.

I quite liked it, but opinions vary and that’s cool. The only thing I wanted to get into was that, as a librarian, the destroyed records really hit home to me and didn’t seem all that unlikely. Digital preservation is a huge issue; it’s so much more difficult and so much more vulnerable than most people think.

Some villains are supposed to be scary and powerful, and in the comics they come from they are. squirrell girl basically takes place in an alternate universe where villains are weak buffoons who pose no threat to anyone and are easily defeated by mundane pranks and optimism. …

I’m not sure many tv/film folks were entirely woke 16 years ago when Whedon would have been casting the show. That’s not to say that folks shouldn’t have been, but I’m inclined to give Whedon of all people a sliver of a break. But then I’m old and remember Qui Chang Caine.
