Are you in Australia? I’ve been reading about the protests there over the feminine product tax.
Ah you are correct. There is a petition to get him to run again—it was that site I saw when I was trying to figure out the short list. Thanks!
I’m very disappointed, because I would LOVE for it to be a douchebag like him.
He didn’t run in 2008, though, he ran in 2012.
If you assume presidential, it would have to be Huckabee or Clinton unless I missed something when I compared the lists. John Kerry could also be a possibility if it’s a senator.
The phrase “employers who are morally opposed to birth control" throws me into a blind rage.
Chase, like most large banks, has a gazillion phone numbers—so when this (rarely) happens, I do exactly what you did and call the number on the back of my card. The times it’s happened it’s been because someone has cloned my card, and I’m always transferred to the fraud division.
I’m not going to lie, I LOVED Taylor Hicks. He’s not a superstar but he’s making a VERY good living at it.
Not really. Atkins is strictly low carb, and some people who eat Paleo are actually pretty carb-heavy with lots of veggies including sweet potatoes. Atkins didn’t care if you were eating cookies, as long as they were low carb (see: all the packaged crap they sold).
I’ve seen mani-pedi combos for as little as $15-$25 on an off day of the week (like a Wednesday). The salon I frequent in Queens is straight up $10/mani, $25/pedi. They’re running so many chairs at once that they could easily pay the workers minimum plus tips and still make rent, so I hope that’s what they’re doing.…
Seriously? They signed a contract agreeing that they both had to consent to using them. You seriously think it’s fair that he bring a child into the world that is half HER genetic material over her objections? He can use a surrogate and an embryo donor if he’s so desperate to have a kid. Or, you know, find someone…
I use the pancake recipe from Bittman’s How to Cook Everything, which is similar to this. If you have any kind of stocked kitchen at all, it’s easier and better tasting to just spend the 5 minutes to mix everything together instead of relying on frozen foods or supermarket mixes. Bittman makes this point prior to the…
You are awesome!
Seriously, when I was married the first time, we had friends of my ex-husband’s parents CALL THE VENUE to find out how much we were spending per plate. I was like, seriously? We don’t need gifts anyway and this is not a business transaction. Give us $50, give us $200, give us nothing, whatever.
I occasionally eat at my local Chili’s, and if it’s happy hour 2-for-1 they bring both drinks out at once—two margaritas, two glasses of wine etc. So that one I can see. And Utah sounds crazy.
Chili’s :-)
I bought a spiralizer last year and love it. My knife skills aren't terrific so anything that cuts the work for me is a good investment. I've used it for zoodles and for curley sweet potato fries—and it would be great for apples, too, to make a sweet summer salad. A mandolin can also do the job, but even though I have…
Thanks for the explanation! I also didn't realize that any franchise WOULDN'T cover their own food costs!
Why are Subway owners different? Had never heard that, although I was aware that McDonald's, Taco Bell etc. franchise owners do quite well.
