I can see these changes in myself, and they are not pleasant. I've thought about quitting Facebook at least temporarily, but it is a legit source of information for me—I belong to community groups and hobby groups that only exist there. And, not going to lie, I do get a kick out of the positive interaction I get there.

Good for her. I think the Post piece is unnecessary, her choices are her own and not anyone else's business.

Hell, I changed my daughter on a bathroom floor once or twice. Put the mat down, change her, and be done with it.

You would think, but that usually elicits raised eyebrows and "NO MILK? NO SUGAR?" The chains get it, the delis generally don't. It's maddening.

Ugh yes, it's like this in NY and I'm not native to here. I've been living here for 11 years and it still exhausts me to order coffee at a deli since I have to specify what I DON'T want in it!

I think a better modification would be a calzone, as the sauce is INSIDE!

I don't know that that is the reason for the high price though—typically alteration isn't included in the gown's price. But this is the very reason I don't understand how rentals would even work, since the vast majority of wedding gowns need some alternation.

Thank you. It is not malignant but now I have to be super-vigilant. And I'm not looking forward to surgery no matter how minor. :-/

Yep. I'm having a surgery consult today for basal cell carcinoma on my scalp. Too many burns over my life (never from an indoor bed, though) and now I'm going to have to see a dermatologist at least yearly.

My husband has a pension but absolutely contributes to the 401k plan. You never know when a company will make changes to the pension plan and he is only 43 so we aren't banking on only that.

How beautiful is that! love it!

I've lost around 30 pounds since the beginning of the year doing CF and mostly eating paleo. I don't go super strict with it because that is unsustainable for me but it definitely works :-)

What's the first rule of CrossFit? ALWAYS TALK ABOUT CROSSFIT.

I wish you would try it again, after giving your body a break for a couple or a few days in between classes in the beginning. I started out at 2x/week because my body couldn't handle much more. Now I go around 4 times a week and I can feel a good workout the following day, but it never makes me so sore any more that I

Love this, thank you! I didn't do much until 41, either (I'm a woman, if it matters). CrossFit is the ONLY thing I've stuck with. I need a class, I need varied and interesting workouts, I need an environment where people would notice I'm missing, and I need the encouragement I get. I just do. I'm like that.

Oh gosh, I don't think so either, and that was my point with referencing her LinkedIn. In a normal corporate environment she has nowhere NEAR the qualifications to be a Director of Corporate Communications!

Her LinkedIn profile is pretty telling. She went from Assistant Marketing Manager to Director of Corporate Communications....and has "Model" on her profile.

No, I was basically asking, why not find a house now, before maternity leave? But you answered that question in your reply to me. :-) I was just curious, is all.

But it sounds like you have time? Do you think it's going to take up to two years to get a mortgage and close on a place?

*fistbump* Here's hoping.
