i mean, is that such a crazy anecdote? seagal is a notorious fraud at martial arts and he’s also a notorious jerk who is known to challenge people to fights. if this Peters guy had done some judo or grappling training (and he seems to imply he has,) i’d completely buy that story. 

It’s really awful what our society does to female celebrities. That said, I still wouldn’t recognize Ms. Swift’s songs on the radio: that’s how ubiquitous and bland they sound.

All the stuff I’ve heard about this doc make it sound like her life is pretty miserable, which is sad. 

Let us pretend this documentary wasn’t comitee-led and focus-grouped to death.

I’ve had to hear that “In the Pines” cover every time I’ve seen the trailer, which sadly was about two dozen or so times, basically every time I went to a non-kid’s movie over the last six months. Yessss. Thank you for this one! Uffda, I love me some David Arquette. Been a fan for ages, but he really blew me away in Dream with the Fishes. He’s superb in that roll. On top of that, he’s eccentric and hilarious, which is always great.

I shutter to say this because I can see him doing it but he should go to Warner brothers and ask to make Plastic Man the movie and he can have Hula Hula with him and in 2020 it will be so racist and bad.

that video is so great -- it really captures just how FUN their shows were. they were definitely serious, accomplished musicians, but they had a really playful side, too, and they always goofed around with each other onstage and with the audience.

I was never a fan of Geddy Lee’s singing, but damn I always loved those drums. Is there a rock drummer alive who wasn’t inspired by him?

What a tremendous loss... I’m just beside myself with this news.

I never liked the band’s music, but you had to respect the hell out of their ability as musicians, and Peart especially. RIP.
