I always find fans of musical films to be fucking insufferable and the Twitter reactions to Cats is why.

A friend of mine is excited about it too. I don’t get it. She’s normally not a big fan of musicals, but for some reason, loved “Cats” when she saw it with her husband on Broadway a long time ago. My girlfriend is a wonderful woman. She’s smart, kind, hard working, and gives generously to her community. But she is also one of the approximately 5 people on this planet who are actually excited for this film, and for the life of me I cannot understand why or how someone so seemingly rational could feel that way.

I can’t remember the last time I’ve been so hyped to hatewatch something.
