Glad people are finally recognizing this! (Even if jokingly) My friend and I have always had a problem with Sam (he is actually a patronizing dick to Gilly several times over the passed few seasons.) and we've been calling it "samsplaining" for a while. If anyone does a re-watch, look out for it! Samsplaining is a

Men overvalue their penises when it takes comes to womens' pleasure.

I felt like this movie treated the other girls like pieces of meat (literally) because they were more "sexy" more typical teen girls and less "victimy" and felt to me like the movie only presented Casey as worthy/valuable because she was raped, like what? I really liked the other two girls, they weren't just waiting

Seems the only women worthy of surviving these kinds of films are virgins or rape victims.

I know this is 6 months later but I hated this movie for the child rape stuff. The other girls who try to have a bit of agency/ take their escape into their own hands are just sexy teen victims who get eaten and the main girl is not only seemingly defined by having been raped (which we see almost constantly with

The sister in Pet Semetary, American Psycho the book, and Snowtown torture scene. Also anything with needles and faces being relentlessly beaten. :(

I can't get over how uneccesarily violent and gory DD season 2 was, like gross and whyyyy?

I have no idea what everyone is talking about. This was a standard X-Men movie just with F bombs and gore. . . Fantastically mediocre and filled with so many unimaginative tropes (mute little girl with super powers, gruff guy/little sassy girl duo, kind family who becomes collateral damage, generic as hell bad guys.)

This is exactly what I thought initially but no one else seems to think so. My mostly unfounded speculative theory is that he killed himself in the park (not an acccident) but not before secretly uploading himself into a host body to achieve both immortality and potential access to his creations later as "not Arnold

May I recommend The Guest, House of the Devil and It Follows. All contemporary horror/action with a hard throwback feel and/or that amazing synthy carpenteresque music.

He's really cute and has great bone structure. Also a girl like that could definitely be drawn to a naive submissive guy after what would likely have been a string of bad boys.

I don't know if any of this has been thoroughly discussed yet (sorry if it has.) but Im curious about peoples' thoughts on:
