Urgh you can always tell a Joan article without seeing her name. The whole thing here now seems to just be snark and pettiness. I feel like I’m too old to be here.

Ok. I have a different experience to you obviously. I live in a different country, I actually live in the country’s most leftie postcode. But the elder millenials I know are obviously not like the ones you’re talking about. None of us think we’re cool. I mean, we never were, so there’s nothing to ‘cling to’ there.…
Well, I don’t think anyone here could name an Australian judge. Obviously ours aren’t appointed for life either though.
Clearly I was an early-adopter. I dumped myself from my boyfriend at 16 because I thought he might do it. Got in first.
Young millenials, just to clarify. Elder millenials not so much.
Condolences from Australia, really sad to wake up to this news and the repercussions.
Basically all the Chrises except the one we all know if not at all a good Chris. Chris Evans in Knives Out cemented his top spot for me. He has aged beautifully.
Again, thank fuck my family have universal healthcare. 3 of my grandparents died of cancer. My baby has been in NICU this year twice and my bigger kid has been in the children’s hospital for a week. I can’t imagine how much that would cost.
I was thinking that. I don’t live in the US, but here you have a legal mandatory reporting duty if you’re
That is an extremely sad fact.
That’s one of the best things, that the tests are free, very accessible, encouraged and you can access the payment if you need it. I’m sure there’s more awful behaviour from police, but as you know, it tends not to be reported, especially if it’s from a PoC or someone with a disabilty. Aside from that, it would be…
Same here. I don’t know anyone who’s tested positive, and I work in healthcare. I’ve been tested SEVEN TIMES now. Urgh. But necessary. My sister lives alone so it’s been tough on here but now she will have a friend bubble. For me, it’s made my depression and anxiety severe and I’ve had two hospital stays for that. But…
Excited for the two hours. Curfew won’t make a difference really seeing as we can’t really leave for any extra reasons. But we are on the way to the next stage for sure! : )
Having had 2 kids, I can confirm that from the middle-end of pregnancy your belly is uncomfortable. I found the strain on my back and belly was definitely helped by not-extremely tight maternity tights and underwear. And belly-bands. Also, if you already had a bit of a belly before being pregnant, these types of…
We have had mandatory mask wearing for so long now. $200 fine if you’re out without one on and get caught. We have the harshest restrictions in the country (not your country), and it’s working. We have a bunch a of enforceable activities like curfew 8pm-5am, only leaving the house for medical/caregiving/getting food…
Oh dear, glad you’re still alive with that heart rhythm.
Yes! My partner and I refer to this too. Like will do the whole ‘Daddyyyyyyy’ thing. Not in a sex way. Also, the first version of House of Cards is the best version.
I never even called my dad daddy. When I was very young, I only ever heard other people call him by his first name, so I decided I would to and don’t remember ever calling him anything ever since. Except for now when he’s grampa.
I call my husband daddy sometimes as a joke because it grosses him out. Would not do it in a serious way because it is gross.
Socks.
