Years ago I did a study day related to palliative care nursing. As part of it, we went and visited a funeral home to find out what happens when a patient dies and how the body is cared for once it leaves the home/nursing home/hospital etc. It was fascinating, because most people never have an opportunity to find out

Me too. Also, I feel like in every movie Rebel is in, her jokes are some variation of ‘oh and yeah I’m fat haha’.

So he’s going to...ghost her?

Accurate.

Ah this guy. I hope he is on it when it sinks.

I’m really happy for Hannah Gadsby.

Nanette is bloody amazing. Hannah Gadsby is just fantastic.

I, too, am old.

Eating kangaroo meat is pretty unexciting here. We have kangaroo steaks and sausages (kanga bangers) in supermarkets.

Me too.

Babies don’t soften everyone. They make you realise how much less you can/want to tolerate other people’s awful behaviour.

Yes koalas are cute, but they can truly sound like monsters at night time.

I have never found Channing Tatum to be extraordinarily good looking and never really saw the appeal until my opinion was swayed by Magic Mike and also his comedic ability. I enjoyed him in Hail, Caesar! too.

It’s a plan

I love the ‘no jab, no play’ legislation. And it works. When I was providing immunisation to kids there was only ever one parent or two at most who objected to it. And the one I do remember was into conspiracy theories. Yay for jabs! Yay for eliminating cancers!

Just to add to this;

Came here to say how excited I am for cervical cancer to be deemed eliminated in Australia by 2028. This vaccine as been amazing, and the rollout was done so well. I had the new 5-yearly cervical screening this year instead of the 2-yearly Pap smear. Felt exactly the same, but yay for not needing it again til 2023.

‘We’re banging a lot’.

How about ‘we had a baby’. No, she had a baby. Your organs are all still in mint condition.
