I have to admit, I’m more of the screaming and running away from spiders type of person. But my mum was always the one to do it when I was a kid. Equally screamy were to two times I found geckos on my bedroom wall. I don’t even live in the country! That’s what I get for having a native garden.

I was at Bright VIC for summer when I was a teenager and woke up one morning, looked up at the ceiling and there were at least 6 of them just hanging out up there. Terrifying. 

Huntsman spiders have a leg span of 2-30cm. We have lots in Australia, I’m sure she’s caught a few in a glass!

It shouldn’t be the job of a paramedic to check financial details. They’re trained health professionals and that should be their only job.
