It’s a joke. Up until now, Trump hasn’t said or written anything that could even be remotely misleading, ever, so Burke is exaggerating for effect.

As I said on another thread, I grew up not far from there, and I remember as kid (70s/80s) constantly hearing about how Jerry Sandusky was a brilliant D coordinator and basically head coach in waiting at PSU if Paterno left for the NFL or retired.

It’s understandable that he’d feel the need to respond this way; hasn’t his track record here earned him some leeway?
