Sorry, but I don’t think any space-themed 50s set film with a desert town setting can compete with “The Vast of Night”.

David Sims, David Ehrlich, and Guillermo Del Toro are a lot more credible as sources than the clowns they had respond to say, Batman V Superman or Rise of Skywalker’s premieres.

I could just stay home and look in a mirror for two hours for that. Save some bucks.

Obviously I take early reviews with a grain of salt, as they all tend to be overly laudatory, but I am looking forward to seeing this.  Cameron’s movies are by no means perfect, and sometimes the scripts can downright creak, but he’s one of the last directors still capable of giving the viewer something new to see,

I believe you because these were the nominees.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

We’re all pocket pets in the end. (No gerbilling puns intended.)

A less evolved version of myself might had said something snarky like they wouldn’t have had to use as much prosthetics if they had cast a hamster in the role.

Oh wait, and it’s also another reminder that Thatcher was bad?”

How dare he give such a reasonable, non-inflammatory response! The nerve! Doesn’t he know there are clicks that need baiting?!

I can’t judge someone I’ve never met

About as much as they get paid to put “uneven” in their reviews.

By definition”

Do you guys get paid extra every time you put “finally” in the headline?

See, that’s boring for me since it leaves the characters in the spot of never learning anything or really overcoming their problems.

i don’t think he makes bad work i just think that work is consistently overrated.

I’ve learned that these trials become proxy battles for weird, terminally-online, and/or entirely deranged nerds who need (but do not know how to ask for) a hug.

Just so. Don’t say “traumatic” when “disappointing” is more accurate.

Yeah, that’s really more of an Easter thing.

Definitely messed up to just cancel a completed movie, but isn’t this abuse of the word “trauma”? Sorry your movie was canceled, you were still paid a pile of money, and everyone is talking about you positively.
