I owned that car... one just like that, except it had a rear spoiler, and 18" aftermarket wheels, and Spec.B dampers with STI springs, and a COBB AccessPort Stage 2 tune.

But remember these 2.5GTs? They were so cool when I was in HS, dovetailing off the early WRX/STI success. Now I’m 32 and should want to buy a modern equivalent, but I don’t want a modern Legacy...

These suggestions are just, like, hot trash. Except the Mazda. But I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Fiesta ST. Fun, spacious enough, right around $20k used.

I’m guessing that all of the critique about being “chinless white guys” is starting to get to  them.
