I have a buddy with a 31 Ford that has a denim roof, a 400 SBC, and 5 speed. No belts for the same reason. You don’t want to be attached to it.

They are the things you DO NOT WANT in a completely open car with no roll structure, or for that matter anything weight-bearing above the waist.

Get rid of the hot rodders. Seriously. The Hot August Nights crowd has destroyed car television in America. In fact, forget America entirely - let’s do a show about tuning and mods in other countries.

Not using these tools for a long job. If it’s more parts than you can fit in your hand, bag it and tag it. You’ll be glad you did.

Not getting the right tool for the job. Yeah, you can replace a Subaru lower control arm bushing at home, but using a press (which is probably at a shop) is significantly easier and probably doesn’t involve a Sawzall.
