For the longest time, Reeve was who I considered Superman. Which is why Kill Bill Vol. 2's Superman speech really bothered me, and the amount of people who quote it and say it's the best description of Superman ever.
After I calmed down, I just accept it as Bill's interpretation of Superman, and that he's wrong.

After Chris Farley passed away, the next SNL they replayed his interview with Paul MacCartney as tribute. It was really touching.
