I started participating on the forums halfway through Community and Breaking Bad. I don't think I could have picked better tv shows to discuss here. It's been fun.

The only country/ pop country song I listen to on repeat is "Every Little Thing" by Carlene Carter ever since I heard it in the pinball machine Red & Ted's Road Show.

IT'S HAMMER TIME

And April O'Neil as April O'Neil.

I think at least a portion of Austin Powers' popularity was Mike Myers doing all the character bits and catchphrases when he hosted (I think) the MTV movie awards.

Have people listened to any other song on Floored? "Fly" was a jarring exception.
I remember DJs talking how Sugar Ray was the best example of a band "selling out" and pivoting their musical sound to what was successful.

Another really fun parody show that no one seems to talk about is (*was! *sigh*) Children's Hospital.

I first heard about I'm Gonna Git You Sucka via the late great Gene Siskel's championing of it during Siskel & Ebert's "Overlooked movies" special.

The Three Amigos story?

The Theory of Everything?

I dreaded something ugly was going to happen, but then I remembered I was watching Master of None.

"Open your mouth."

Howard had prepared his finances well before the meeting. He knew it would come down to this.

Maybe one of the employees is a really big Richard Gere fan.

Anyone else recognize Howard from The Last Exorcism?

Howard had the cheque prepared in his pocket the whole meeting.

Chuck is so Lawful Evil it sickens me.

It can be called "Always Do The Right Thing, Gus."

Maybe we're used to long driving shots used to set up cars getting t-boned, but the terrific editing here felt just a little more visceral and brutal.
