True. Ed was okay, or at least the most tolerable. Nathan was a complete douchebag. Renata's husband was as well, but there was something kinda likeable about him; he's what I call an "all right asshole." He's an asshole, but he's all right.

Stormtrooper Lives Matter!
I feel cheated. I'm reduced to red light/green light over a more nuanced grading scale. Maybe they could link to IMDB?
"From the start of the series, the murder framing Big Little Lies—the
intended draw—somehow became its least compelling element, in favor of
exposing the intimate lives of this group of first-grade moms."
I'm usually pretty cynical about this show (what with all the talk of how the characters feel about the zombies), but this was a pretty good episode/finale for me. I liked Sasha's resolution here. I figured she was going to be made an example of, but she managed to surprise me. And the trash people turning on Rick and…
This was an A episode. So much going on and done so well. Every character moved forward and in an organic way, intrinsic to the plot. I was shocked when it was over because it seemed like it only lasted 5 minutes.
Going into this thinking the target demographic isn't 14-year-old boys is the real crime. I'm certainly not defending an unnecessary remake, but criticizing this for being juvenile is like criticizing Schindler's List for being too dark.
Ms. McCulloch. My 12th grad English teacher. She flat out started the school year by saying "I hate boys. You will all have to work twice as hard as the girls to get the same grade and it will most likely not be above a B at best." She actually had a battle-axe pin/brooch.
True, but they haven't really established that yet (that he's a serial rapist). Ziggy is what? Six? So six to seven years ago? And how could you forget Shalene Woodley?
I think she wanted it to be him. Either that or she's gone mental because of the assault and this guy is going to pay for it, even if it isn't him.
Synedoche New York too. God that scene with PSH was grueling.
Right?! I guess Rick melted their hearts.
Sure enough, when Carrie calls the case worker, she’s told Frannie suddenly fell ill and isn’t available anymore.
The people of Oceanside almost immediately lose what little distinctive identity they once had…
I don't recall any "scum" and/or "villainy" in Monterrey when I lived there.
I didn't mind him as much as the younger actor/lead. I just kept thinking, "it's male Hermoine Granger. And he sucks."
He should really get into some Scottish independent movies, imo. I remember seeing him as Billy Connolly's brother in "Mrs. Brown," which was excellent. Then again, he isn't exactly starving.
Wouldn't Jane's attacker recognize her on some level? It doesn't seem like this guy recognized her at all. And he seems a bit gay. I know it's a cliche; interior designer, but this guy was just too dapper, imo. I'm wondering if this is a false flag and not her attacker after all. She seemed pretty convinced though.
I adore Robin Weigert.
"That might be happening with Troyzan, who finds a crucial idol clue in a bottle."
