"Joe didn’t want to turn on Debbie, and while some of this felt like an inability to adapt to new game plans in the moment, I agree that it was too tentative a time for them to lose a number in their alliance. I’m bad at strategy so tell me why I’m wrong!"

You had me at Alia Shawkat.

I find her annoyingness refreshing. She's free from the trappings the rest of us take for granted like consideration, manners and self-awareness. I think that is the point. You could say the characters in "Togetherness" are annoying as well, but they've been around longer and have learned to curb their impulses unlike

"A senior at the school reported all three girls,…"
Swiper no narcing!

I keep trying to get into it, as I watched the old one a few times as a kid, but it just hasn't gotten it's hooks in me yet (even with Alex Kingston in it, who I could watch do taxes).

I was looking for a new binge-watch. This'll fill the gap until I can figure out another good show with more than one season.

Good point. I just see him heading down that path. He has an air of Gregory about him.

The only thing that makes sense in bringing a corpse along (in a world where the dead are rising to snack on us) is for proper closure. A funeral ceremony accomplishes that, but pissy Chrissy had a hissy. And why? What was the point of jumping in the water (and no one saw the other boat like 50 yards away)? None.

Since they're new to the zombie apocalypse, I expected some butthurt over it, but they're pushing it with both Alicia and Chris. It's a testament to either West Coast culture or this show's writing that the most level-headed people in the group are a former torturer, a rich megalomaniac and a junkie. So far I'm

This was disappointing. The entirety of the show's lifetime it was something beyond a sitcom, but this happy ending reduced it to that. I really would have liked to have seen everyone grow over multiple seasons, but alas, it's not to be.

I thought it was in B territory. I'd rather see him host again than another Melissa McCarthy bore-fest, or another musical guest/host. Sounds like he had this review written before the show even aired.

She was, hence the cold line from Adam. He very succinctly pointed out just how wrong she was and why in one line. I think it hit home for both of them that they're doomed as a couple.

I honestly think the last time I saw her in anything was "High Fidelity" and even bone-thin, she was gorgeous. She's back to her fighting weight now, so watch out. Can't wait to see more of her.

Yeah Cydney! I could watch her do pretty much anything all day. I'm on team Cydney and rooting for her to win the whole thing.

"Telling fellow Survivors about autism: good. Telling fellow Survivors that every cent you have goes toward hospital bills for your autistic child: bad."

Was that him on a recent episode of Broad City (too lazy to look).

Exactly, it's ridiculous and a TV show so it's funny. She wouldn't have gotten to the point of flashing her boss in real life for any one of her antics. But this isn't reality, so we can laugh at outrageous behavior.
I wouldn't high-five just any co-worker, but I would high-five my wife if she were the co-worker as

I must've missed that, but he waived her college debt? That's awesome. I get she's bummed about losing Mesa Verde, but going into business for yourself debt-free? Great! Good news! And if you can do the kind of work she did to get them in the door, she can do it again. I get she's bummed, but I hope it doesn't play

Did he? I'm thinking it was to punish her for siding with and backing up Jimmy. And I'll wager most of it was at the behest of Chuck.

Howard's a schmoozer because that's his job, but I do get a sense in his wistful stares, that he'd rather be doing what Kim is doing. His respect and admiration for her is genuine and he does wish her well. But back to business and grinding her to make his bread.
