"…the ineffectual narrative sadism of it." (on the Andersons' deaths)

That mid-season premiere weren't that bad.

I don't get it. Probably because I'm woefully ignorant of what makes good hip-hop, but in my own defense, I loved Kendrick Lamar's last album and formed that opinion before any hoopla. I like to think I have an ear for what's good regardless of genre. This, not so much. I heard two songs on SNL and if that is his good

While I enjoyed it, it's not going to make me miss TWD on Sunday night. Catch it later or the next day maybe.

"Hell is the impossibility of reason."

It certainly sounds plausible. Seems like there have been more than a few moments where Rick has been grooming Carl. That could just be contingency planning on Rick's part though.

I haven't read that far ahead, but I got that impression. Still, it's Rick's narrative now, though, right? Carl will inherit it?

The community gave it a "C" huh? That's odd. I'm usually the naysayer and I gave it an "A-." I dug it. I didn't really care for the first two episodes, and I've always hated the over-arching alien conspiracy story in X-files, preferring the one-offs, but episodes 3 5 were delightful.

It's sad, but I couldn't help saying, "Melssa McCarthy again?!" when I saw she was hosting. Don't get me wrong, I like Melissa McCarthy, but I can't say I'm a "fan." I hope she doesn't do a Piscopo; get in shape and lose all her funny. She looks like she lost weight and good for her, but as we all know, comedy is

Immediate grading curve for Juno Temple nekkid. I dug the show. It wasn't jawdroppingly good, but it got me interested. The time period and music alone give it ample watchability.

I could handle that office, switch or no, and the probable salary and perks easily if it guaranteed I'd wake up next to Kim every morning.

"But while I won’t miss Ron or Sam (Jessie was nice enough), their deaths are nearly laughable, a clumsy, forced way to get rid of three supposedly important characters in one fell swoop."

I'm speaking more to typical talking heads who call themselves journalists. Most of the conflict journalists out there I have immense respect for especially Jim Foley.

I thought all comic book movies were in "irreverent drag?"

This is probably one of the coolest looking men I've ever encountered. I'll bet he was a hoot to hang with. That shirt is superb.

I think it's because of:
a - the popularity of Justified
b - the popularity of the character "Pennsyltucky" in Orange is the New Black.
"Westpennsylginny" is just too much.

Yeah, I didn't care Asa's Corvette Summer style ATV find in the woods and subsequent mini-montage of it's fixin. I mean, there were plenty around. Surely if they wanted to see this guy die in the "pit fight" they would have lent him one.

While I disagree with your rating, I have to admire your system.

"Good night Bren'in"
[sound of a broken moonshine jug hitting log cabin]
"Shut the fuck up!"

I'm digging it, but it could use a guest appearance from Wayne Goggins.
