I just watched episode two and rescind my earlier snap judgment. I dig er. Though I see Jason's point at the end; she needs to be his champion and if he feels strongly enough about film that's what it should be. I respect her experience, but he's got two Oscar winners in his corner backing him up too.

You failed to duck.

"But Madison can’t handle not knowing, so she crazily, almost unbelievably, uses wire cutters to get through the perimeter…"

Considering one of the good guys fucks animals and that's laughed off.

I got that the VHS movie and the money were both mythologized by Kimiko just to deal with the hopelessness of her life. It was her only magic.

I like the transgender angle. And make it a white male to female transgender prostitute, a white, redneck/methhead pimp, and a black, Harvard-educated CIS (wait for it) male lead. And have them get their marriage license in Kentucky at the end.

But isn't he point of hiring a contest winner to direct a Farrelly brothers' movie, to actually direct a Farrely brothers' movie? I get artistic statement and letting the guy direct, but that's for when you are famous either on your own, or because you paid your dues…y'know, directing a Farrelly brothers' movie. If

Right off the bat she will captain ship I will name "manufactured drama." Everything will be about race, gender, and sexual orientation with Effie and she will but heads with the Farrelly brothers over her sour grapes that another white guy got the job. And what a white guy to get the job. The only candidate who

No way, she's a great Grammy. In fact, I'm divorced and I get along better with her now than I ever did when I was married to her daughter. They don't even speak.

Whatevs.

Nah. It's because we're so different. This is a woman who enjoyed Look Who's Talking so much that she didn't understand all the fuss over John Travolta's "comeback."

I dug it. It was definitely a summer read/guilty pleasure. I thought it was a YA thing as my son turned me onto it and it does have that vibe.

“Otherwise, kids would just stay with their parents forever.”
I get along really well with my kids and this terrifies me. How will I ever get them outta my house?

Nessum Dorma when I first really heard it and had read the labretto. It opened up Opera to me.

Cyclops drops
Denim Phlegm
Cup Cheese
Dick Spittle

Or Druid Fluid if you want to get sanctified.

That's just begging to be a Spinal Tap song if it isn't already.

Yeah, sure, but what about the 24yrolds? They're losing parts to the 12yrolds.

Meh. I just don't know who to root for in this show; the blood-thirsty, murderous, drug lords perpetuating violence on foreign soil or Pablo Eskobar? Seriously though, there are no good guys in this show, and by that I mean no one I can be invested in. The DEA are not heroes, and I don't want to be sympathetic with

I love it. One of my favorite movies. I'm still at a loss as to why she liked it.
