That's exactly what I meant; their main focus would be getting high vs. this tragic Romeo & Juliet & Heroin love triangle.

The son acts like he's 8. And he looked at his buddy in jail like he was going to cream his panties.

You'd think they'd be more focused. They aren't even any good at addiction.

"Add to that that the Paris scenes look cramped and stagebound, especially during an overly extended sequence of Gisla slowly walking to prayer, and “Paris”‘ energy level plummets every time the action shifts back to Paris."

I think they were both stupid long before they ever did drugs. I have no sympathy for any of these people.

Yeah. Those kids are so awesome. One gets involved with an illegal immigrant felon and blames his father for trying to get his dumb ass out of the trouble he got into for $50. And the other one overlooks the fact that she's trying her best to get pregnant before she graduates and Poppy just can't understand how uncool

I was really hoping "she" was a he. A big, black he. Now THAT would have been awesome!

I'm still hanging in there, but for the most part I have no sympathy for anyone but the father and brother of the victim at this point. I get that there's many sides to a story and that is the only part of this show I like; that nothing is black and white. But most of the characters come off as caricatures. This feels

Good call! I commented after the fact having not see your catch. Kudos. My kids looked at their father in awe…for once…when I called that one.

I'm late cause I missed it Monday, but did anyone catch that "fronting goon" was none other than Trevor from GTA V? My kids were pretty impressed that I caught that.

They need to check any of his guns to make sure they're not replicas, though.

"…like the behavior of man dealing with survivor’s guilt (and manslaughter guilt I guess)."

Just Gestap-it right now!

"Jeff makes the best snacks!"
Yep, all around, this was a pretty great episode. Even the music was pretty darned good (odd too that Hulu actually included it; they usually don't). My favorite was still the WWE sketch because it was "so intricate."

I don't think I've seen anything but A episodes for this series, so kudos to the reviewer for grading them in the context of an awesome show.
I thought Athelstan sacrifices himself just as much for Ragnar as he did for God. He was the focus of discontent among them and he took himself out, which may protect Ragnar in

For a moment I thought the "W" might be Carl's girlfriend, but I can't reconcile the letter with her so I'm thinking not. That's the most intriguing plotline at this point for me.
So Glen's wife heard the priest's crazy rant, but apparently hasn't told anyone? I think that info might have toned down Rick's reaction to

Rarely does a show come along in which I can find no redeeming qualities, but this one did it. I'm an atheist, but this show almost convinced me it was an omen of end times.

Two scenes blew it for me: the arraignment, where the black guy is being told he's being charged with rape and murder, but is more intent on making googly eyes at his junkie girlfriend, and the scene(s) with the Hispanic kid. That kid actually tries to act tough with the juvy rep through tears; how fucking sheltered

That is exactly the vibe I got; Crash.

The acting is superb as is the cinematography. For ABC ( or CBS or NBC) this is a sure step in the right direction. The problem is, I have no sympathy for any of the characters. The victims are obviously not without sin. The parents are all kinds of fucked up. The "criminals" all are frustratingly naive or
