Well, he's got a point. It's not small.

Oh, I think they work fine narratively. I have no problem with their usage.

I need to read the AT comics in more depth. The ones I've seen were great fun.

Very much so inclined to agree with you here. As I noted above, I feel that the argument is often skewed due to the sheer heights which Community sometimes reaches. Every episode isn't "Mixology Certification" or "Intro to Statistics", but that doesn't mean that the episodes which don't quite reach the same heights

Yeah, this is another fact that I think is important to credit in regards to Community's consistency. While some of the more "pizza" episodes may not approach the heights of episodes like Mixology, that doesn't mean that they are bad episodes, and it certainly doesn't mean that the show has poor consistency simply

I like everything about this episode except the kids.

Rather, not Google, but people engineering it so that these are the results.

Community's consistency will, I think, forever remain a subject of intense debate. Most of us can probably agree that each season has at least one or two stinkers, but once you move beyond the few "consensus" episodes like "Wine Tasting" opinion on any particular episode becomes divided pretty quickly.

Haha.
I wonder if this is a joke or actually legitimate? It seems too ridiculous to be anything but Google skewing the results on purpose, but given the profile of the 2012 campaign at the moment I actually could see a highly-quoted statement from one of the candidates completely filling up the search results. The

We'll have to agree to disagree on this point, then. Shirley has always been highly militant about Christmas and her perception that the Catholic Christmas is a persecuted, dying holiday.

I consider Epidemiology to be more of a fracturing of reality because the "glee virus" can be explained quite well through simple character interaction. The zombie virus? Not so much.

The characterization is pretty damn spot-on.

The songs aren't done badly, though. They're all quite good.

I dunno, as far as 'divisive' episodes go that one is pretty far down the list, IIRC.

It's a show that manages to develop an ensemble of 8 or so deep and interesting characters and tell a compelling story over the course of perhaps 12-14 hours of TV and film put together. Can't say that of a hell of a lot of other shows.

@SpongyandBruised:disqus Best character. I'll never stop mourning  the fact that she didn't get a full story arc in a hypothetical S6. Not sure if I could name a character with greater lost potential just about anywhere.

Community's is pretty fantastic in this regard. Captures the show pretty damn perfectly.

I generally enjoy the Wire themes, but listening through three-four minutes of it every episode gets annoying.
