Angelus just has so much swagger, it's delightful.

Angelus is what showed me that David Boreanz can actually act.

What I find interesting about the Gentlemen is that it's not even their actual appearance/actions which make them so terrifying, but rather just contemplating what it is they do.

"Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered" is too funny. I've just spent about twenty minutes trying to find Xander's slow-motion walk set to "Got the Love" on Youtube, with no success. Looks like it might have been pulled, which is a bummer.

Weeping Angels in "Blink" are terrifying despite the fact that as portrayed in that episode they're easily the most benign Dr. Who villain. Haven't seen Twin Peaks.

S3 addresses (and sometimes lampshades) this to a degree with remarks like that and moments in later episodes, but mostly it's just because the town's always been like that and nobody really wants to talk about it; far better if they can just pretend everything's OK than contemplate the potentially mind-shattering

Lacks emotional impact overall, or the emotional impact of "The Body"?

Me too! It's so brilliant. I suppose the few rather graphic segments might put people off.
