@avclub-8fa11ee920bc1734824d106eceb7d6a7:disqus I tend to ignore what they do in the second episode they appear in because they were far more terrifying in the first, and that's what I hope a return of the Angels would tend more toward.

S1 was fairly inconsistent, but overall I quite enjoyed it, and the Silence were chilling villains.

What I don't really understand is how somebody can die against the Weeping Angels, seeing as they are actually in the running for least harmless monsters of Dr. Who (kind of funny considering their terrifying nature). Daleks get you? Cybermen get you? Blorgsnatches from Ultamera VIII get you? You're dead. Angels get…

Yeah, their repeat appearance was just nowhere near as good; mostly, I think, because there were just so many Angels and people involved, and because we knew that nothing would actually happen to any of the main characters. Sally Sparrow might believably have been nailed by one, but the Doctor & Co? Naaah.

Speaking of awesome instrumental anime intros, Baccano's is pretty fantastic as well.

DC rebooted their entire continuity a year or so ago in a bid to shake things up and attract new readers.

Nah, they wouldn't do that. They've expressed a desire to steer away from repeat offenders like the Daleks and the Cybermen, and I imagine the same would go for the Master.

Oh, I know that one, but I could've sworn somebody mentioned special drink in a S3 episode. I'll have to rewatch through once I get the chance and look.

@avclub-c2ef3728d9ce090652f36c2e3d4783d0:disqus I've been on far too many forums filled with them, which is why this comments section is such a welcome relief, bar Thursday nights after a new episode.
