@avclub-2d0cca95ad6a2061d208d765e79af478:disqus If you're going to be an asshole, then I'm not going to engage with you. Want to discuss whether or not the show's achieving real character development? Don't be a cock.

@avclub-eede55069a8d3430b54730901f49c230:disqus Well, that's just the thing, I think. Jeff really does love Greendale at this point, and is becoming increasingly comfortable with where he is; episodes like "Redux" only served to drive that point home.

I've been thinking back, and I honestly don't think Jim Rash has ever failed to make me laugh.

I'd certainly hear out claims that the show's getting too self-referential, but that line is really not indicative of any such problem. Britta did seem smarter than Jeff when he met her.

Can we discuss how awesome the line "this Fallujah of higher learning" is?

I've found him pretty meh so far, to be honest.

Actually, I think it's mostly because they just don't give a shit about Starburns.

Advanced Gay is good, but not amazing. I just don't see it myself.

It's pretty even, I think.

@avclub-cad44517b35950ca85cffe44458ff25a:disqus I've always seen her as having turned to Jesus after being completely submerged in alcoholism, personally.

Plus, this is the school that devolved into a full-on warzone over class registration at a community college.

Although it's been more prevalent recently, it's not exactly out of nowhere.

Hell yeah they should have! "Fistful" was better than Modern Warfare.

Great analysis!

Ahhhh, that's great.

Yeah, that was definitely quite funny. Chang in authority sticks much better for me than Chang doing crazy stuff. I feel he's generally a bit more subdued as an authority figure as opposed to a lunatic living in vents, so that helps.

Yeah, I'm confused too, because I kinda got the vibe that they were building up to defusing it at the end of the season.

Hmmm, that's a fair point about the keg stand, actually. Have we seen her drink since Mixology? That's when the alcoholism actually became a character point for her, and I don't recall if she's imbibed alcohol since.

That's perfectly fine, but you act like it's something new to the show.

His jokes still landed for me, personally.
