Right, but it was a lot easier,not to mention free, to get a replacement SS card. My state charges 20 bucks for a copy of birth certificate and you can’t do it online. Took 2 minutes to request another SS card.

Because every place I have started a new job at in the last 20 years has wanted to copy my DL and SS card since it has been the law for a decades now.
