Consolidation is not really good from a consumer perspective, even if we as gamers view it as the potential for MS to take over and make better games and improve the work culture. Consolidation is one of the chief aspects of modern corporatism that facilitates monocultures within companies, power abuses from the top

Ghost recon wildlands is a better game than boyfriend dungeon.

You know, if you stop giving Dr. Moron coverage, he might just go away?

The fact that this guy is famous just shows how stupid most humans are.

Maybe we shouldn’t be giving attention to stuff like this? Considering all of the shitty stuff from him in the past and that this does not seem to be a particularly remarkable game in the first place. Oh, and don’t forget the NFT stuff.

So according to a guy who films people in public bathrooms it’s basically going to be The Raid, but so far looks like shooting the rifle from Aliens on a crappy firing range with terrible framerate?

D&D is hot right now, largely because queer roleplayers have made it shine”

Look I’d love if we queers could take credit for this but dude that’s an interesting choice for planting a flag. That you skip over Stranger Things is weird, which (along with Critical Role, which you mention) I feel did a LOT more to bring it

I still don’t understand the backlash. Like, is it really that big of a deal?

as someone who worked on marketing once, this whole situation smacks of “let’s gently poke the hornet’s nest because there’s not such thing as bad publicity”, and the idea probably came from a Senior Creative with little knowledge of the market but a lot of sway in the ad agency.

He runs his own site.

You know what sucks? Working a 12 hour day on freelance rates to single-handedly run a website, and spending most of that time trying to highlight unknown indie games, to then find the only comment under a review of a properly great game deserving of wide attention is some sneering wankery complaining about a slightly

I think you’ve missed it - there WAS actually some gameplay shown for Aliens Dark Descent, and it looks like an isometric RTS XCOM  clone. Which is awesome!

Yeah this article seems focused on AAA games but where Gamepass really shines is it’s huge selection of Indy games. With some real great ones on the list.

Oh, yeah, such things are definitely a matter of preference. Pretty visuals and smooth framerates are great! But I’m definitely among the crowd more impressed by features and fun factor and such.
