I stopped playing JRPGs because of the stilted dialog and terrible english voice acting. Even some of FFVII remake’s dialog and acting seem pretty awful -considering how amazing the visuals look.

It is the year 2020 of our lord and somehow, someway SE thinks this shit is acceptable. I had a hard time putting up with this shit in Star Ocean 4, so much that it led to me never finishing the game (Among other problems) and the primary EH-EH-EH-EH offender could be swapped out.

Alternatively make video games about history and just ignore the snowflakes. They’ll find something else, lacking of a grand importance to the world outside of video games to whine about.
