People who were paying attention noticed that insomniac said that you can customize your character on stage E3, but this was a pretty cool way to reveal the details. This game looks fantastic.

I wonder if the new XB1 SDK will get the Xbox One version of MGS5 up past 720p. Bungie already said it's boosting Destiny to 1080p/30fps, on par with PS4. I'm hoping this gets me 900p, if not 1080p.
Now I just hope it is actually fun to play.
I, for one, am absolutely jealous of his success!
If you make $4 million by uploading youtube videos, people are going to hate on you really quickly. I don't care for his videos so I simply don't watch them much, but I am absolutely jealous of his success. Good for him.
Wow. I guess they wanted to nail MS to the wall in Japan.
Do you have a link to source that says that? I haven't that info anywhere.
I haven't seen any news source report that Sony is actually publishing it, only that it is an exclusive. News outlets also haven't gotten clarification on whether or not it is a timed exclusive.
Money well spent, Sony. I'm sure you were facing quite the challenge in Japan from the Xbox platform.
I learned about this game being re-released by seeing it in the ID@xbox gaming montage during MS's E3 presentation. It really, really isn't just coming to PS4, guys. Here it is at 1:31:
This isn't sony bringing back this game. It's coming out on PS3, PS4, Vita, Xbox 360, XB1, Wii U, and 3DS. The author left that out because he only checked the playstation blog.
Gamefly. No game boxes piling up. I send back games that bore me. I can try out 3-4 per month and that is on the single disc $15/month plan. I'm happy except I have to wait for Watch Dogs and Wolfenstein to become available.
Holy crap that is awful.
You tried to purposefully engage in a conversation to make them look bad and they wouldn't engage. Good. See how you like it when game companies just stop talking to your video game news site. I guess they learned from dealing with kotaku over the years.
I declare fake controversies to be over. Let's start there.
We already know.
Vote with your wallet. That is the only vote that matters. Only buy games with gender options. If enough people do it, publishers will listen
People aren't mad because Assassin's Creed doesn't have women.
What's fanning the flames here is the close timing of the two explanations, coupled with the fact that two entirely separate development teams working on unrelated games offered nearly identical reasons for not bringing female avatars into the fold—even though Ubisoft had them in earlier Assassin's Creed and Far Cry…
Well, you guys in the press got your "controversy". Congrats. The tag team of Polygon and Kotaku is unbeatable.
