Why is it that they only want to focus on their families AFTER they get caught?

Thanks to a family connection (sibling is an executive chef at a high end club) I know just how heinous the “jokes” can get. Racism? Yep. Sexism? Yep. Gay bashing? In spades.

I’m gonna do my damned best to shine the light of blackness upon this gray comment. I wish I could give you more than one star.

What are these “Crusades” of which you speak? I personally have never heard of them. Four of them, you say? Spanning centuries and resulting in the deaths of millions?

Men who work at restaurants are usually horrible and pervs.

His profound love for his Catholic faith evidently doesn’t contain any of Catholicism’s teachings on lust, infidelity, preying on those with less power, or that whole bit about coveting.

Since then I have been seeking to rebuild my marriage and come to terms with my reckless actions given the profound love I have for my wife, my boys and my Catholic faith.

There’s got to be a lot of chefs getting nervous. Sexual harassment in the restaurant industry is rampant. The only question is which excuses we’ll hear: “It was different back then” or “It’s a tough work environment and you’ve got to be able to deal with the heat.”

Everyone in NOLA idolizes that guy.

As someone who served my time in the restaurant industry, if we’re going to go there, we’re going to be pretty pretty busy. Lots of creeps there, maybe even more than hollywood if that’s imaginable.

Wow. This is one I’m kind of surprised to by. John actually seemed like a decent guy. We went to his restaurant in NOLA and he was there. He came by our table and spoke to our group. I also enjoy his cooking show on PBS and I thought he did a good job as guest judge on Top Chef. I guess you never can tell what goes on

This had been a bombshell story in New Orleans. Besh is one of the biggest influences on the restaurant scene here post-Katrina. Everyone seems to like him, and his food isn’t half-bad. I have at least two of his cookbooks. When it broke a few weeks ago that Shaya had been fired from his namesake restaurant (so
