@ka1axy: The really silly memory is that it had second as well as minutes and hours on the display - as well as colons - two simple tubes that just lit for the separation.

@ka1axy: My Dad's is from his own two hands. He's an Electronics Engineer. There was no kit. There was a pile of parts. He designed the circuit and the PCB. He had them etched where he worked, came up with a parts list and build instructions, and people bought them and assembled them.
