Sure sure but only letting him throw it twice a game because they can just run run run sure helps.

Stop with the GOAT stuff. He’s behind at least MJ and Kareem. That’s probably it and it’s still a legendarily incredible career but can we not crown a dude with less titles, MVPs, and clutch plays than those dudes as better just because he’s the most recent?
Rank them: Poop stories, Drew gifs, ALL CAPS rants
No, I get that, but if you can pay it off every month, you will literally pay less for those things when factoring in cash back. If you’re worried about your self control, definitely don’t do that but if you are that religious and disciplined with only using cash, I’d think you can pay it in full and save $$$. I’m…

Except the optics of it, the rush to get a return on your investment, the job security of the Ops group that drafted them, etc. That statement assumes the best but that’s not the world we live in. Also, it still accelerates the process to the next contract which is the players’ intent but not always fair to the teams,…
They can already go to the GLeague but at the normal ($30K) salary or go overseas. No one is making the kids do anything. If you want to get paid, there are definitely avenues and most of them pay more than this new $125K slot
Sure but the GLeague doesn’t have guys who are foregoing college but are projected to be face of the league types. If the next LeBron wants a quick $125K, that’s a far dicier proposition that I don’t really know the answer to for the teams involved.
People forget how bad the quality of play was then. Also, sorry not sorry, you should have to prove your worth against teams with entire rosters of people who are old enough to drive a car before taking one of only 400 NBA jobs in the world. I have no sympathy for the kid who may’ve been drafted high only on potential…
The best part is that it happens right on a Volunteerism banner that’s ostensibly meant to be a good, positive thing.
I don’t want to hear it. The 07 Super Bowl changed because Richard Seymour did the same thing to Eli on the Helmet Catch play. It happens.
Peterman is the worst QB I’ve ever seen. Can anyone think of anyone even close? The normal list of busts (Jamarcus, Leaf, etc.) are busts because they sucked but had some highlights and a few good games. Even guys like Max Hall and John Skelton had a few decent quarters. Nathan Peterman is like if they put in a Make A…
And many of them are seats that Obama should have been able to fill but was blocked at every turn. An entire wing of the government was literally stolen from its rightful party because Republicans are willing to play dirty and we are not. It’s so disheartening.
Can we all agree that Mark’s grandpa is the man? That story was great
I’ve flown a lot in my life so no huge horror stories because I always leave 3 hours before the flight. I’d rather spend $15 on a Bud Light than $1200 on rebooking, but I do have a few stupid stories.
Right, and Bell’s never gotten that set-the-market deal that Earl is wrapping up and wants another one. They shoulda paid both but it’s not the same thing either way.
See, I don’t think so. I think it’s more about them thinking they may need to do a full-scale teardown and build for the next ten years around Russell Wilson and some much younger players.
Right, and Earl Thomas set the market for safeties 4 years ago. He wants - and deserves - another big contract but it’s not the same as Leveon who’s yet to get even 1 long term, big $$$ deal. Not even close.
This is where my sympathy is less than a guy like Leveon. What you should have said is “There goes Earl’s shot of getting another multi-year contract.” He set the market at his position four years ago and got PAID and is still making over $8M this year which isn’t far off market value for a Pro Bowl safety.
They are the product of a multi-billion dollar business. Of course they should.
Thing is, he has been and is being paid fair market value for his services. He’s in the top 5-7 paid players at his position in spite of setting the market 4 years ago
