This.  I was on board with the dog thing but I LOVE my cats.  The one I picked as a kitten sleeps on my chest, meows at me when he wants attention, then scrams most of the time.  Outside of having to shovel litter, it’s literally 0 hassle.

I’ll forever believe Christian Bale was the best but I’m with you on Clooney. I think he was victimized by the script and suit. If you swapped him out for the first 2 Batman movies, I bet he’s just as good as Keaton.

Nine years ago we drove from NH to Charleston, SC with stops in Virginia Beach, my grandparent’s place in rural VA, Charlottesville, Myrtle Beach, culminating in 4 days in Charleston.

For what it’s worth, David Johnson signed a 3 year, $39M deal (well under AAV of the franchise tag and pretty short money) and Gurley’s was 4 at $60M. Bell supposedly turned down something in the area of $70M over 5 years which, in the context of the above deals and Connor’s performance shows why they aren’t budging…

Lauren, I normally like your work but that this post doesn’t end with his rushing touchdown celebration backflip is a missed opportunity. He did the flip so easily he almost overshot it. This man is not human.

There is a pretty hefty consequence. First year it’s the average of the top 5 or 10 players’ salary at the relevant position. If they do it again, the second year it is 120% of the previous year’s tag. That is the cap number too since it’s a 1 year deal. The tag is prohibitive but if a player’s typical shelf life is 6…

This sucks. He was a good player in the bits he played last year and seemed like a fun story of someone overcoming long odds to become a pro.

I know this is a joke but preseason really is HUGE for some of these guys, whether to earn a job or prove they belong here instead of working at Best Buy or something. The restrictions on practices make preseason so, so vital for the bottom 50 on the 90 man camp rosters to show they should be NFL players.
