So it’s not real? “No.” he responded. “They’re rumors, that’s all that is.”

I suppose balloons would work, as long as they were filled with a gas lighter than carbon dioxide (which makes up about 95% of the Martian atmosphere). It would be hard to dial in the amount of gas needed to achieve neutral buoyancy, but I imagine that’s an engineering problem that could be solved. The bigger issue…
If you can come up with a physically viable molecule with the versatility of DNA/RNA, then tell us about it, and we can start looking for that. Until then, we look for what we know to look for.
The issue with both of those ideas is Mars’s incredibly thin atmosphere. It doesn’t conduct sound nearly as well as the atmosphere on Earth, and it would also require a lot more energy to keep any device requiring aerodynamic lift in the air (basically a drone-like device would have to spin its rotors a lot faster to…
Whereas you lose all credibility just because what you said was really, really dumb.
I’m having the opposite problem. I can’t find anything new or anything in my backlog that I really have the urge to play. I’ve spent the past couple weeks playing Persona 5, but after about 60-70 hours I’m getting pretty burnt out on it.
Only insofar as literally every person on the internet is a dickhead. The only difference between them and any other random person is that they’ve a little more famous, and nerds, like most people, enjoy building up their heroes for the sole purpose of tearing them back down again at the first sign of any behavior…
I can’t be the ONLY one who thinks this....can I?
What’s this “y’all” about? I agree with you 100%.
Does that mean the PC release of the last episode is coming 2018 as well? That’s kind of a bummer, but I’ll give them a pass since the first 4 episodes have made for one of my favorite video games of all time.
I don’t know why I love this so much, but I do. I love this so much.
Yep. This season has Zack Snyder syndrome: it’s driven entirely by “cool moments,” and everything in between is just a hastily built bridge to the next “cool moment.” Characters aren’t given a chance to evolve, and no sense of anticipation or build up is allowed.
If you don’t then you my friend are a bare minimum human being. You are no better than Best Buy.
Should they be required to do so? No.
Not arguing with that.
than your naive.
He made a pretty good case for his argument. Your rude, condescending dismissal without even a token attempt at addressing his point makes you look ignorant, not him.
You keep saying that with all the certainty of those who just knew Hilary had it in the bag. No matter how true what you’re saying may be, I just don’t see it mattering in any material way. No one’s going to remove him from office.
Eh, we’ll just have to agree to disagree.
That....wouldn’t save him from being charged for filing a false report.
