You don’t need a massive change in rocket technology: a Sky Hook would solve most of the big problems with getting to space.

“The requirement that employees must speak with the company before contacting the state department.”
The single player stuff in Wargame never really stood out, and it introduced too many mechanics that almost worked, but mostly didn’t, like the ships.
“Are you single” is such boring trolling: can’t you at least do something more interesting, like a thorough debunking of Dragons: A Fantasy Made Real by comparing dragons to Kazuma Kiryu? And just get more and more obnoxious about it, like someone with strong political opinions on Reddit who keeps getting ignored.
The pollution mechanic seems to have been kind of tacked on at the end: I don’t remember it being in most of the Dev builds, at least, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it was rushed out.
Well, they could make it less of an obvious race by using the Era Star system better: instead of rushing to mars, there could also be projects to do things like creating the first library/code of laws, circumnavigate the world, and so on.
Honestly, it feels like a Free to Play game with a massive price tag attached: bullets don’t come out of the barrel, balance is weird, the guns feel sterile, gameplay elements are badly (if ever) explained, the levels are mostly dull...it’s a mess.
Cosby’s ruling wasn’t overturned on a “technicality,” the government literally lied to convict him: if Cosby refused to testify after he was promised that criminal charges wouldn’t be used against him, he could be held in jail until he did. Then, when he testified to prevent that, the government turned right around…
Someone once said that Rockstar was the Chaotic Evil of modding (with Nintendo being the Lawful Evil, and Bethesda being the Chaotic Good,) and this article is a perfect example of that.
War Thunder has a LOT of stuff that’s wrong, particularly in optics, and the actual effectiveness of certain shells and armor.
It isn’t actually all that hard to install Linux on a PS4, you just lose some functionality if you do.
They can sue for as much as they want, but what they’ll almost always get is directly related to the harm done: it’s rare, but courts have been known to go, “you are technically correct, but there was no actual harm, so here’s a dollar.” The exceptions tend to be when judges want to make a point.
I heard Obama Nation a lot about a decade ago...
It may actually not be possible at all: all someone would have to do is use the name of actors and the like in a slightly condescending way. For example, if someone started calling a streamer, “a big red Elliot Page,” people can more-or-less infer that something like that is meant to be harassment, but a bot would…
You clearly don’t use Twitch, because Automod is absolutely terrible at being fair: it blocks completely innocuous messages for reasons nobody understands. If that started banning people instead, Twitch would be swarmed with false-positives, which would only make the site worse.
Same thing that happens to people who gamble on real-estate and stocks: they eat a massive loss. Unlike real-estate and stock though, the companies being bought from regulate the price so the price can’t really outright crash, so it isn’t enough of a massive loss to offset the potential problems.
Scaplers do the same thing, using bots to buy goods faster than actual people can buy them.
That just creates a massive black market: bad as scalpers are, turning the entire market into a national company store just provides far too many opportunities for corruption.
And the damage is actually cumulative, because the longer people aren’t buying games, the more Sony loses out on the investments they could be making with that money. If the scalping goes on for a long time, people might even decide they might as well go to Xbox or PC instead, since Microsoft’s own exclusives will…
