The only reason we don't have a gay-o-meter is because that picture broke the measurement system.

I am also afraid of a crash sometimes, but I imagine more of a transformation from the traditional sense of gaming into this "interactive experience" casual/social type of thing. Since this is a relatively new thing, it's hard to tell it's trajectory right now.

It's SO HARD to imagine, that I will have to check out at least a few episodes, to see how the hell this idea is supposed to work.

Yeah, everytime I hear "space game" I'm instantly reminded of this game, and I think "damn, this will never come out", but I heard that they started licensing the tech for various purposes, so I don't think they abandoned it.

Reading the part of landing seamlessly on planet reminded me of this game and now I'm sad that this has no release date in sight.

It's strongly recommended to read through his published diary that he wrote while developing this game, it's very interesting to see the toolset he built for himself, and to see how little assistance he got from his own publisher at the time.
