I’m a big fan of deconstructions. Basically a story that takes place in a specific genre or medium only to tear it apart, boil it down to it’s essence or intentionally turn it upside down.

I highly recommend picking Brotherhood over the original. It was fine for it’s time but Brotherhood tells you a more imaginative story that feels more complete and well-rounded. It basically tops the original in every possible regard.
