Who was speaking out? What were they saying? How did they say it?
Who was speaking out? What were they saying? How did they say it?
I get what you’re saying and self-identify in a similar manner, but someone simple enough to use “liberals” like that is not going to be convinced. So I’d rather save my energy and move on to a more constructive engagement.
I know right? Fuck it if any of these people are actually qualified for the jobs. So far on that list we have two billionaires, 2 bankers, a wife of the House Leader who also served in the Bush Administration, and a doctor turned politician. Keep on draining that swamp though. LOL
I love it when people use the term “liberals”. It means I can go ahead and ignore whatever else it is they are trying to say.
Yeah! Keep politics out of my military blog!
I feel ya. Luckily, I’m mobile enough (no kids, pets) to be able to relocate any time I change jobs but the traffic is definitely the worst part about living here. Also, I don’t drive to work, which has definitely saved me a few years in stress.
You’re right, I’m just projecting.
I live in LA, can do everything you listed (without the snow), and I still hate New Yorkers. It’s not just a Midwest thing. And you seeing it as projection kind of proves the smugness. :D
Wyoming is beautiful, especially when compared to the over-sized roach motel that is New York. Throw in the smug, “worship me because I live in this shitty city” New Yorkers and anything in Wyoming would be a steal.
LOL. No, now it calls itself the alt-right. But dont’t be fooled, it’s still the same fat, white neckbeards who spend more time on reddit and 4chan and making “dank memes” than they do interacting with real humans or, shutter, a GIRL!
...whose story seems to have strong anti-war sentiments, but is sponsored by gun companies and marketed using nu metal songs in commercials that feature lots of explosions.
I know right? Don’t you hate it when game companies don’t cater to the expectations of one fan? Heartless assholes...
I see what you’re saying but I still think that white Americans generally are more aware that racism is a problem than are white Europeans. Again, this is a vast oversimplification, but the history of the US with slavery, the civil war, the civil rights movement, and now the resurgence of white nationalism shows that…
No, but torturing its members is not the only harm a religion can cause to its members or society at large.
I completely agree.
Fuck you, I’m pretty sure you guys posted something like this before. Maybe it was Jezebel? Either way, fuck this shit.
Again, you could say that about any religion.
What about ones with enough members to actually influence public agenda? Can Scientologists go out and vote in significant enough numbers to limit abortion or promote the teaching of creationism in schools?
Average Christian church where? When’s the last time you saw Scientologists effect social and political agendas in this country? Where does the conservative right get their motivation to limit access to women’s health and perpetuate Islamophobia? Christian’s voting to legislate their religion is causing much more…
Meh, “invisible man in the sky” or ancient Alien overlord, it’s all the same shit, just that the invisible man is more normalized to us. Other religions certainly have the capacity to commit more harm than does Scientology.
