He really was excellent - the scene with his wife in the cell was particularly affecting.

I'm just here to register that I can't watch this yet and it is actually killing me. I'm so glad to see the glowing grades, though.

I feel like my not getting too far with the book paid some dividends here because I had no idea what to expect. I've started reading it again, but I think I'll stay behind the pace of the show.

Well, this throws a new perspective on those ubiquitous gold pineapple vase/whatevers that are so popular at the moment. Thanks for sharing!

That Titus/Mikey break up was very sad but understandable - this show has a particular knack for nailing poignant moments amidst total absurdity (see the 'but you're still at the same table' bit from episode one). Mikey's attempt at a serenade had me in stitches.

I think she was still kind of gunning for him, even after the whole oops-killed-your sister bit. She's had a bit of a thing since he rescued her way back in season two.

I'm not going to lie, there would be something seriously hilarious about there being a five year time skip and finding out just allll the ships happened. Murphy and Echo? Oh yeah, that happened. Everyone remember Emori and Raven's epic four week romance? We don't even talk about Bellamy and Clarke, that got so played

That's four people I'd be down with literally any combination of, actually. Screw it, form a Power OT4 - you're in space for five years. You can do what you want.

Even knowing this, I'm sticking to my guns that there's no such thing as a damn maple syrup empire.

So late to the party - man did they ever throw as much at the wall for a second season as they could! Barely any breathing room in this one.

Now, had this been a week ago, I would've put Zach McGowan forward for Geralt, but that ship has saaaailed.

I listen to Under The Sycamore Trees an awful lot, so beautiful.

This is such an accurate review. It is my all time favourite, but absolute garbage to play.

It's the best worst game I've ever played, and honestly, the payoff on the narrative is worth every painful irritating action sequence and tedious driving mission.

Ugh, absolutely. The Donna break down is wonderfully done.

The third episode of Twin Peaks is why I have a three episodes rule. You know where you stand by the end of that episode.

I actually started reading the book, but didn't get too far because I made the rookie error of reading it at a particularly busy time in my life. I considered diving back in, but now I'm not sure I want to spoil the show for myself or taint the experience with comparison. I'll certainly read it once the seasons done,

Well now I feel a bit dejected, really.

I've read only the beginning of the book so I'm going in to this pretty blind but I am adoring it so far armed with my tiny sliver of knowledge. I've decided that not knowing is more fun.

That's a tough question - it's hard to recommend, in all honesty, it's a bit like recommending like, a run through a field of coals. There's certainly much to be said for it, but it is a film that wants, above all else, to drive you away. Its up to you if that sounds appealing.
