Yeah pretty much. 12 is probably the best episode of the back half, and it covers all the elements that are worth watching.

I'd pretty much just skip everything but Ward (whose plot is worth watching through he sits out eps 10/11 though ) and maybe Claire, the escape from the compound at the end of 10, and the Colleen fight in episode 12.

I would just like to come back to confirm that this cocktail is great. (Very sweet though.)

It really added some punch to that dumping, didn't it?

Oh man, it really is!

Cheryl's a damn force of nature, isn't she? And that cape! Also, cluelessly manipulated, out of his league Archie is basically the most I have ever liked him, it's like he can't even hear the soundtrack!

Damn, "unmatched chapeau game" really got me.

It's a true Riverdale constant at this point.

I am so annoyed we have had so little Kevin/Joaquin. It is a genuine outrage to me.

I have two eyes and a heart, don't I?

Welp, now I have a Riverdale watching cocktail.

This is the perfect description of Archie.

Nailed it. I can't stand shows that twist themselves sideways to avoid making their hero at fault, without recognizing that overcoming flaws and recognizing weaknesses are hugely sympathetic traits, and excusing jerkish behavior via narrative wrangling is a sure path to an unintentionally unlikable lead.

Barry from 'The Flash'.
Dawson from 'Dawson's Creek'

The ending of that opening episode was just wonderful.

Honestly I've pretty much dropped off the show because I can't stand him. It warms my heart a bit I'm not alone in this, though.

Ned! How could I forget The Piemaker?

I'm not even sure I could pinpoint exactly when I turned on him, to be honest. Probably something to do with messing up the timeline. Now I just actively dislike him.

I love me some co-leads! Both of these are excellent choices, but now I'm just sad about what happened to Sleepy Hollow, which had a truly wonderful set of co-leads and went to hell for not realising it.

It really does. To be fair to them, even the best attempts at an ensemble will always end up with a lead in the audience's eyes, and they do have some compelling leads that can justify it (Clarke, Rebecca Bunch), but yeah, most of the time it hampers the show more than helps it.
