Ugh, Barry.

Yes, yes he is.

David from Legion is probably my new favourite lead character in a long long time. Couldn't agree more about Dale Cooper, my favourite protagonist of all time, and the bar by which all others will be judged.

…the beeeeast who wallks, Defenders of the Earth.

Peerrfect. I can practically hear him seething as he orders "just a soda water" and lamenting how much more sense his life made when he was on all the heroin.

Add Ward and Foggy and I'd watch the hell out of that.

I'm really, really not a Frank Castle fan, but I enjoyed the hell out of that arc, and loved Bernthal's performance. So much so I'd probably rank it at the top of my arbitrary Defenders list.

This, right here, is what keeps JJ off the top of my ranking.

So much this.

Man, I'll take any opportunity to praise Tom Pelphrey, who was a diamond in the pile of mediocrity that was Iron Fist.

I'm so glad this show is back. I actually gasped out loud at the Joaquin reveal because thats how damn invested in this thing I am. I want more Kevin / Joaquin please! He's fallen in love with the mark, right?… Right?

Eh, send Colleen and beclawed Claire to Luke Cage to team up with Misty, send Ward to Jessica Jones as her rehab buddy, or Daredevil to help make the inevitable battling The Hand tolerable. Just send Ward anywhere, really, he's a business dude, he doesn't need a great excuse to be places.

(All stuff that could be happily grafted on to the other, better series, though.)

" Nothing redeemable from this show worth carrying over into any other series."

Oh, Albert Rosenfield…

That sounds about right. My SO genuinely just straight up got up and stopped watching, and only came back when he heard my relieved shouting.

Excellent points!

That might have been a bit gruesome to show for a character who is aligned with our heroes, now. But they could've had him ask to borrow the sword and take off with a 'just to be sure'.

Going off Malcom in JJ and Ward here, drugs, pretty much?

Well, he does overcome adversity, develop as a character, and slay the Big Bad, that's all pretty hero-y.
