I'm really hopeful that is exactly where they are going with this.

Seriously! The lack of animation here is crazy to me. The Emperor's New Groove is amazing.

Wolfman was spot on, but I'd say it got it more right than wrong. I found it more lukewarm in the early going, when it seemed to be more heavily leaning on the Peaks, but as the story progressed and it took the kind of absurdism that permeated the periphery of Twin Peaks, brought it front and center and turned it up

Nailed it. I went in as a huge Twin Peaks fan with the full expectation that I'd find the homage to be a rip-off, but it ended up being my favourite game I've ever played, precisely for the two things you mentioned. Despite how they initially appear, neither the core narrative or York are a rip-off, but do reach that

VIII has such a seriously underrated soundtrack.

How about a little fishing and chilling to 'Life is Beautiful' from Deadly Premonition?

Eh, I really like Mr Robot, and I really like Preacher. Opinions vary, different strokes for different folks, etc.

But I have ?!

That's a pretty big part of the hate, yeah.

I'd say it does, on the grounds that, if nothing else, the Goggs can be relied upon to be worth watching regardless of the film around him.

Eh, I feel like Walter's still trying to find his niche.

Cosigned x100. It would be fantastic.

Walton Goggins is the best.

For evidence, see every comment under 'the 50 best comedies since 2000'.

Best Ferrell film by far.

No argument with WHAS at the top, and I'm happy to see a lot of my favourites make the cut - particularly Josie and the entire ouvre of Edgar Wright - but I'll echo the suprise over the lack of Lord/Miller.

I was surprised by its omission, too.

Yeah, that's a pretty good summary of why I ended up being so fond of the character, actually. He was just so organically integrated into the show, probably because he's the only one we meet on the other side first before we meet him here, so it didn't feel laboured when he popped up on our side too. That's probably

My favourite character - for all that didn't work in season 4, Lincoln, and Seth Gabel, remained a great addition. I missed him a lot in the fifth season.

Twin Peaks Season 1.
