Yep. I only casually kept up with NMS - having mostly stuck with the mainstream interviews from Sean... And so I was prepared for the ‘chill the fuck out and just enjoy your surroundings’ approach... and I’ve been surprised at how much I’ve enjoyed it.

I’ve been working crazy hours lately, so it’s been a perfect game

I think it may have been part of PS+ in the past.

Lame. I loved Ponyo. The animation was incredible!

This game is great. Hopefully they’ll work out the PS4 online issues soon.

That 14th Arcade challenge is rough!

Really, piracy is largely irrelevant for big AAA games.... And can actually be a good thing for a small dev who makes a legitimately great game... Though, it may not pay off until their next game... or until word-of-mouth has gotten around in time before the game became irrelevant or cloned.

Now, if you’re a small

I feel like the Free DLC for The Witcher 3 was meh. Yes, it’s free... but it seemed more like a marketing gimmick more than them just being generous. But maybe that’s just my cold, cynical ass.

There are so many things wrong with The Order...

* Forced Slow-ass Walking (I get it..”immersion”... but it’s still annoying from a user standpoint. I’ll walk if I want to walk and take it all in.)

Twin Snakes? Twin Snakes is awful. The cutscenes were way too over-the-top... And the boss AI was the same as PS1 version - only now you have far more control.

And the changes to the script were terrible.

But, I will say, I do like that Kojima actively encouraged them to re-do the cutscenes in their own style... The

Remastered Cutscenes are cool. Not sure I like the way The Boss looks, though.

Their vaginas look weird.

It’s not literally about nothing... It’s about mundane minutiae. Shows usually had some contrived premise... Seinfeld’s was that they’re just 4 jackasses in New York with stupid first world problems, essentially.

I just don’t get the appeal of going live-action. Seems like, if done correctly, Nintendo could make mega bucks with some good CGI Mario/Zelda/Metroid/Pokemon movies.

It’d be tricky... but it could be done if Nintendo was willing to put as much love into them as they do with their first party games.

Good lord. And in 2 weeks, when the app has died among all those who are not mega Pokemon fans... They’ll wonder why they were so excited about it... then they’ll pass it off to a shitty/cheap studio.. and then Nintendo will stop it from happening.

Huzzah.

NOTE: I would like the developers to announce new features in

Day 3 and they’re only NOW getting things under control?! The HUMANITY!

Jesus, people... There are a fuck ton of people trying to play. Give it time. There will still be plenty of Pokemon to catch in a week when they’ve ironed out the issues.

Yeah. Not having sex before marriage AND marrying someone that is also *that* dedicated to keeping a marriage alive no matter what... often results in a very unpleasant and frustrating marriage when sexual compatibility just doesn’t ‘click’. Even if you both are sexually aroused by each other before marriage doesn’t

I remember finding art assets for another game when working on a remaster of a very well-known franchise. But since it was found before release, no one seemed to care. Fucking lazy-ass, thieving “artists” need to be fired and shamed.

EDIT: And no, it wasn’t just placeholder assets.. They were trying to pass it off as

What are you talking about, Patrick! It’s amazingly dreamy! We get paid a bit more than a burger flipper, we get to provide feedback on and inspire changes to unreleased games, and then we get our names in the credits! It’s totally worth it just to tell people “I work in games!” And we really just play games all day!

Oh

I’m so torn. Reviews are universally ‘meh’.. but most of the content of the reviews seem to be focused on aesthetics... Or merely pointing out that since it’s not 100% the Mega Man clone they expected, it’s inherently disappointing.

You seem to bring up and gloss over some of the more specific issues... but without

It’s usually not quite that expensive. And generally, you get a free retry (or, at least, that’s how it used to be)... but only 1. Maybe things have changed as they’ve gotten more lax with their requirements?
