Everybody. Everybody knows building cars is hard, including Musk and everyone at Tesla. They are the first truly new manufacturer in how long? And they are producing cars and selling them faster than they can make them. I don’t understand why people love to hate on Tesla. You have such a unique point of view though!

2nd best part of 1st class? The people that look at you like you’re not supposed to be there. You know who I’m talking about.

lemme bring you out the grays cause, truth.

We will when y’all stop killing us, locking us up, defunding our schools, calling our countries’ shitholes, etc, etc.

I clutch my purse every time a white man is walking toward me. I step far away from them when in line. If they move their arms near me, I flinch in a very showy way. And they always give me this strange look. I do EVERYTHING that I’ve seen white women do to black men.

I literally just heard this exact conversation in the kitchen between two conservative women in my office. That’s why I found this article in the first place.

“Ugh, why is Starbucks closed? I need a grande latte frappachino mochachina NOW!”

*Zap*.

Yeah, because every day of my adult life (and a decent portion of my teenage years) I’ve tried to conduct myself the best I can. I’ve held employment and put my nose to the grindstone and tried to be a good person to all those around me.

I’d assumed people saying “white working class” was a racist dog-whistle that means “people who deserve to be middle class just because they’re white” or something.

Things around this joint weren’t a problem until a large enough mass of white folk started falling through the cracks and the internet meant it it couldn’t be papered over easily.

I can!

talk of previous violent incidents, expression of paranoia, overreaction to workplace changes, unstable/emotional responses, feeling of arrogance/supremacy, intense anger/hostility, violations of policy, exploiting/blaming others

To give you a sense of how much Republican lawmakers care about women, take this vignette from Senator Pat Roberts today. When asked by a TPM reporter if he supported repealing Obamacare, Roberts sarcastically responded, “I wouldn’t want to lose my mammograms.”

They are so cool.

The notion that people aren’t getting it is wrong. The intellectual level of his joke is that of a 3 year old. It’s preschool-quality satire.

No, no, no. You have it all wrong.

I’d prefer he comment on why he made a Tumblr post and a video explaining how he realizes that these jokes weren’t landing and then went right back to make the exact same jokes—but I’d accept a comment on being called a petulant doofus too.

Cliff Notes version:

You know how, when someone jokes about something, they might be hinting at what is going on in their mind? Just a little something you learn as a therapist!
